About Wildly Ordinary
Welcome!
Perhaps you are like me, as I spent over 25 years in corporate before taking the leap to become an entrepreneur.
Alarm clocks, endless meetings, mis-aligned values with big corporate entities and being constantly asking myself what is it really all about?
In 2021, I decided to walk away. Not because the corporate world hadn't given me anything, it gave me two and a half decades of skills, but because I finally understood what I actually wanted to do with them: help other women build something that was truly theirs. That's when I became a brand and business strategist, and honestly, that's when everything I'd learned finally made sense. All those years weren't wasted. They were preparation.
Why "Wildly Ordinary"
I've always been a bit of a rebel, just not the flashy kind. I'm not chasing attention or putting on airs. I love the simple things: a good cup of coffee, a walk with my dog, a laugh that catches me off guard. And somewhere along the way, I realized that choosing "ordinary," the real, unfiltered, everyday kind, is actually one of the most powerful things a person can do. It's a stance. It says: I don't need to perform for anyone. I just need to be real, be present, and have faith in what I'm building.
That's Wildly Ordinary. A love for the planet, for animals, for caffeine, for laughing at ourselves, and an unyielding belief in our own purpose. Ordinary and authentic, on purpose.
🐾 Bogart, and those before him
My most recent partner in all of this is Bogart, aka Little Dude. But honestly, there hasn't been a stretch of my life without a cat or a dog in it (Often multiple at the same time). Animals have a way of keeping you grounded in exactly the kind of ordinary I'm talking about - no pretending, no putting on airs...just showing up.
Why this?
This particular expression of my entrepreneurial journey started in 2026, and it came from something I felt firsthand: entrepreneurship can be lonely. Not many people chase their own dream. It takes courage, grit, and a level of "wait, am I the only one who thinks like this" that can be hard to shake on your own.
So I wanted to build something that says otherwise. A shirt is a small thing, but it's also a conversation starter, a way to say who you are and what you're building without saying a word. My hope is that Wildly Ordinary becomes more than a t-shirt brand, a place where entrepreneurs like you can find a little connection, a little humour, and the reminder that you're not the only one with those random 2am thoughts.
Who knows where this goes. Maybe a community. Maybe workshops. For now, it's this: real products, made for real people, who are done asking permission to be exactly who they are.
I truly hope to get to call you Wildly ordinary too!
